Married to my college sweetheart

I'm a big fan of marriage.

Meet DJ - my best friend, adventure buddy, and all around favorite guy. We love to hike, mountain bike, cook Korean food, fly fish, play board games, create new cocktails, take road trips, and experience life together.

Our perfect evening involves gathering friends around our kitchen island for homemade skillet pizza, cadillac margaritas, and board games or a round of spike ball while we jam to the Infamous Stringdusters.

To be a mama is truly my life's greatest joy. There are no words to describe how thankful I am for these two incredible girls, my supportive hubby, and our little pup.

At the end of the day, this is what matters most and motivates me to be the best version of myself.

Their love and support fuel me and help me do the work I value so much.

City raised, mountain based

I grew up in St. Paul Minnesota enjoying lakes, access to amazing restaurants, shopping, and all that the city had to offer. I always pictured myself in a big city, but after getting married, we packed up and moved to a mid-sized Colorado mountain town, my husband's childhood dream.

Here I am in Durango, 19 years later, and totally in love with the place I call home with mountain biking, hiking, fly fishing, rafting, and skiing right outside my front door. 

I'm definitely biased, but I think Durango is one of the best places to live. I'd love to share this little corner of Colorado with you and capture you here!

Wowzers. We didn't exactly know what we were getting into when we bought a 120 year old home in the heart of Durango.

We've jumped into renovating our house one project at a time ~ and thanks to YouTube, we're on our way. Blood, sweat, and tears. We've experienced a little bit of all of them.

Some people eat to live. I live to eat.

My favorite thing to cook right now? Korean Bibimbap.

My perfect day ends with a glass of good whiskey, Old Time Dinner Music playing on Spotify, and garlic sizzling in some olive oil on the stove. Mmmm ... what's for dinner????
