My first fix came in the mail a little over a week ago, and let it be known to the world, I am in love.
This in no way diminishes my love for my dashing and adorable husband, who of course is my first love, but how can a girl not be in love with gorgeous clothes delivered right to her doorstep? I knew you would agree with me.
Let me tell you ladies, this pretty package did not disappoint. I was so excited to read the card from my stylist, Megan, who informed me that she is also a redhead! I secretly hope we are long lost cousins.
The package came complete with a personalized note, clear instructions, and outfit styling tips. Simply glorious.
I wanted to post photos of the outfits for you to vote on what I should keep, and what should go. But even with the best of intentions, the sick little troup in my household got the best of my affections that week. Anyone else been battling colds? Argh. We are so over it.
Anyways, all that to say, next time I want more outside opinions, but this time we'll have to settle at a backwards glance for what I chose to keep, and what I had to part with. Here are the keepers:
Far left: Cordelia Striped Boat Neck Sweater ~ super comfy, classic, and so cute with a pair of boots. This one was a definite winner!
Middle: Mission 3/4 Sleeve V-Neck Blouse ~ I loved the fit and cut of this flowy blouse. The V-neck is flattering, but not too revealing. Another keeper!
Far right: Anila Floral Print Flutter Sleeve Blouse ~ the feminine pattern and beautiful cut of this shirt made it an instant yes. I'm on the hunt for a cute pencil skirt to pair with this one. My stylist suggested red ... to much with my hair, do you think?
As for the ones that didn't make the cut (below), a cute chevron print dress and sweet, delicate gold tube necklace. I wasn't quite feeling the dress ... and now looking back, wonder if I just wasn't sure of it because of my blinding white legs! Oh goodness ... in hindsight, some black tights, boots, and a cardigan could have definitely helped this number. But even with help, I'm just not sure I could rock it. I'm excited to see if there's a dress that's a better fit in my next fix.
The necklace was so sweet, simple, and delicate. I debated, but in the end, my penny saving self kicked in and I decided to hold out for something that I will be more head over heels for in the next fix.
