Hang on to that Christmas cheer!

Before you get any fancy ideas about making a New Year's resolution to get more organized....which may mean clearing out the Christmas card clutter, just hold those horses. I've got two good reasons to hang on to those good tidings of great joy.

Idea number one.....

Take photos of your friends and make them the contact photo for when they call you. Why let those good looking pictures go to waste?!

A shout out to my hubby who was my handsome hand model for this photo. Have I mentioned how much he loves being pulled into my last minute blog photos? Muah! I love that man.

Now who wouldn't want to see cuties like these pop up on their phone? I've got a lot of love for my dear friend Elizabeth who is a fellow Mama, lover of good food, and blogger extraordinaire. Idea number two....keep all your cards in a basket. Each night, draw out a card before bed and say a prayer for that person/family.

When I heard of this idea from a good friend, I loved it instantly. What a great way to think of and bless my friends throughout the year...not to mention the added plus of a simple and fun way to teach my little ones about praying for our friends.

We've got our basket started and I know Ingrid will be thrilled about drawing out a card each night. The top card features my ever sweet and uber talented friend, Marisa. She's a fellow photographer, crafter, and all around artista....who also has a darling little daughter named Lucy. Check out her beautiful work at http://www.marisamillerphotography.com/

Happy New Year, my friends! Drink something bubbly and kiss someone you love tonight. You can bet that I will be doing the same. :)

Cheers,

Vanessa
